Yard Sale Information

Post 48 members in conjunction with Unit 48 Ladies Auxiliary and Squadron 48 Sons of American Legion hold a yard sale several times a year.  We are accepting donations for the next yard sale now. Any items that you can find at a home yard sale, garage sale, or flea market are the items that have sold in the past. This can include lawn mowers, furniture, pots & pans, dishes, cups, bowels, small kitchen appliances, etc. If you have any questions about whether an item will sell or not, call one of the below to ask.

Any items that you would like to donate can be dropped off at the Post on Monday between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Contact the email address below to ensure that someone will be there to meet you. If you need items picked up, contact the email address below to arrange for the pickup.

Proceeds from the yard sale go towards Post 48/Unit 48/Squadron 48's charitable activities. This includes Boys State, Girls State, Law Cadet Academy, and cash grants or loans to veterans and veterans families who are in need.

Post 48 is an IRS 501(c)(3) organization; donations to the Post/Auxiliary are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. If you would like a receipt for donation(s), it must be requested at the time of the donation.
