February 21, 2014    Boys State, Girls State, and Law Cadet Academy Selectees Named

In terms of character, leadership, scholarship and service to school/community, each interviewed candidate is uniquely qualified and they all are outstanding young men and women who are a credit to Chesnee High School and our community.  We extend our compliments to their parents/guardians and teachers for their guidance, instruction and for instilling in them the desire to achieve and expand their horizon by attending these programs.
It is a pleasure to inform you that our Boys State, Girls State and Law Cadet Academy selection committee, after interviewing the candidates, has made the following recommendations for sponsorship and payment of primary tuition for attendance at 2014 American Legion summer encampments.  Please convey American Legion Post 48’s congratulations and notice of selection to the individuals named below:
