The meeting was an all-time first for Post #48. Members of the Chesnee High School Army Junior ROTC brigade were invited to the meeting for hamburgers, hot dogs, and desserts. Some parents of the JROTC students also attended the meeting. Lt. Colonel Eugene Kilcawley is the commander of the unit. The Brigade Commander (student) gave a short speech to those in attendance.
