American Legion Post 48 members were proud to attend and present awards at the Chesnee High School JROTC Awards Ceremony on April 28th and the Chesnee High School Academic Awards Ceremony on May 3rd. Please congratulate these outstanding students, JROTC members and future leaders!

JROTC Cadet Ethan Ezell received the American Legion Post 48’s
$500 College Scholarship presented by Post 48’s Sergeant-at-Arms: Jack Smith, Jr.

JROTC Cadet Emily Jolley received the 2016 JROTC Eagle Award and a
$500 College Scholarship from an anonymous donor. Both presented by
American Legion Post 48’s Sergeant-at-Arms: Jack Smith, Jr.

JROTC Cadet Jonathon Phillips, a member of the JROTC Rifle Team,
received the Doc’s Tires $250 College Scholarship as presented by
American Legion Post 48’s Sergeant-at-Arms: Jack Smith, Jr.

US Army Brigadier General
